To ensure fast charging test efficiency, the industry typically uses ATE (Automatic Test Equipment) for multi-channel fast charging testing. However, constrained by the space limitations of traditional desktop electronic loads, the testing faces the following pain points:  

  • Limited testing capability, high cost, and space consumption

Traditional single-channel fast charging test loads occupy a 2U half-width space, and a single ATE testing device usually supports 4-8 fast chargers/adapters for simultaneous testing. Amid the rapid growth of fast charging, the testing capacity of a single cabinet has reached its ceiling. Adopting more load units for testing would require more space and higher costs.  

  • Diverse fast charging protocols

The market features various fast charging protocols such as USB PD, QC, and PE. Testing equipment must be widely compatible to meet the testing needs of different fast charging adapters.   

  • Parameter measurement integrity and accuracy

The testing process requires simulating the entire charging workflow, including constant current, constant voltage, and trickle charging, as well as high-precision measurements of parameters (voltage, current, power, ripple) to achieve high-fidelity simulations of real-world conditions.

  • Rich fast charging protocols

Supports optional fast charging test functions, including USB PD2.0/PD3.0/PD3.1, QC 2.0/QC 3.0/QC4.0+, PE+/PE+2.0, FCP, SCP, AFC, and more. It enables rapid validation of fast charging adapter performance under different protocols.  

  • Multifunctional

Supports 8 testing modes, including CC, CV, CR, CP, CV+CC, CV+CR (CR-LED), CR+CC, and CP+CC, meeting the testing needs of various devices such as fast charging heads, adapters, LED power supplies, and switch power modules.  

  • High precision

Voltage accuracy of 0.025% + 0.025% F.S., current accuracy of 0.03% + 0.05% F.S., with dual-range design for voltage, current, resistance, and power. It ensures precise measurements of U/I/P parameters under different testing conditions.  

Supports functions such as ripple measurement, load effect, and OCP/OVP/OPP testing to meet various application requirements.
